Logging into your Quincy University account for the 1st time

What You Will Need:

  1. Username
  2. Email Address
  3. Temporary Password (provided by Dean of Students or Admissions)

Services You Will Use:

  1. Google - University Email
  2. Microsoft - Password and Multifactor Factor Authentication (MFA)
  3. Student Portal (my.quincy.edu) - Forms, unofficial transcripts, billing, course registration
  4. Navigate - Communication and scheduling with advisors, professors, and success coaches

How to Sign In

  1. Go to https://mail.google.com
  2. Enter your Quincy University email address
  3. Click Next
  4. You will be redirected to a Microsoft sign-in page
  5. Enter your temporary password
  6. Follow the prompts to:
    1. Set a new password
    2. Set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

During your first login, you will be required to set up MFA.
This allows you to securely:
  1. Reset your password
  2. Access your account from new devices

Password Changes

After your first login, you can change your password at any time. Refer to the Reset Your Password article for instructions.
Password Requirements: At least 14 characters long, 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, 1 number, and 1 special character

Helpful Tips

If you are already signed into a personal Gmail account:

  1. Click your profile icon (top right)
  2. Select “Add another account”
  3. Sign in with your Quincy University email
