Reset your Password


Different Methods:

Before getting started:

* If you do reset your password, please forget the WiFi and reconnect using your new information. If you do not, your account will get locked out

* If you do not have Multi-factor set up or recently got a new phone, you will need to call or come into the IT Department

Required Steps:

  • Multi-factor previously set up on Microsoft Account
  • Student ID Card with proof of ID
  • Mobile device (Phone or Tablet)

Self Service Password Portal:

* This does require Multi-factor to be previously set up

1) Access Microsoft Registration: Begin by visiting the Microsoft Registration page.

2) Select an Account: Choose the account you wish to register, which will be your Quincy University email address.

3) Enter Password: After redirection, enter your Quincy University password (same as your email/portal/Moodle login).

4) Access Security Info: You will be redirected to your Sign-Ins page. Select "Security Info" from the left menu.

5) Change Password: Next to the password section, select "Change". Your new password must be at least 8 characters long and include both uppercase and lowercase letters.

6) Complete the Process: Congratulations! Your password has been changed successfully.

* This does require Multi-factor to be previously set up

1) Navigate to the Quincy University Portal

2) Below username and password, click the 'I forgot my password' button

3) Type in your Quincy University email

4) Check your email inbox. The portal will send you an email with a link to the password reset portal

5) Click the link in the email, type in your full email address and password

6) Confirm your identity with your Multi-factor

7) Set up your new password
