VPN Instructions and GlobalProtect
*Quincy University domain-joined computer or laptop (meaning the University owns it, and you log in with your Quincy University login), please submit a helpdesk ticket. We will set up a time to come and help you get it installed.
Personal computer or laptop instructions
Please ensure you are not connected to the Quincy University internet. You can not access the website listed below on our network. To access the new VPN Client, follow the steps below.
2) Sign in using your Quincy University username and password
3) Approve the DUO MOBILE push notification on your phone to log in
4) For Windows: Download the 'Download Windows 64-bit GlobalProtect agent' For Mac: Download the 'Download Mac 32/64 bit GlobalProtect agent'
5) Launch the program from your Start menu (on Windows) or Apps folder (on Mac)
6) When prompted for a portal address, please enter vpn.quincy.edu into the textbox and hit enter
7) Type in your Quincy University username and password
8) Approve the DUO MOBILE push notification on your phone
9) You should now be able to access on-campus resources
While connected to the VPN, your internet traffic will pass through University systems. Your connection to the internet will always be slower while connected to a VPN.
IMPORTANT: When you are done accessing Quincy University documents, please disconnect from the VPN. Reopen the program from your Start menu (on Windows) or Apps folder (on Mac) and click disconnect.
*Cisco's ANYCONNECT will no longer work with our network
